In the app - straight away

Open CaloDaily, go to the You tab, scroll to the bottom and choose Delete account. You will be asked to type DELETE to confirm. Everything below is removed immediately and you are signed out.

This cannot be undone, and there is no way to get the data back.

By email - if you no longer have the app

Email azfordummies@gmail.com from the address you sign in with, and ask for your account to be deleted. Requests are answered, and the account deleted, within 30 days.

Sending from the address you signed in with is what proves the account is yours. If you cannot, say which address to delete and expect a question or two first.

What happens after that

Backups of the database are encrypted and kept for 30 days before they are thrown away, so your rows disappear from the last of them within 30 days of deletion. They are never opened except to recover from a failure.

The web host keeps short-lived request logs - time, network address, which page, whether it worked - as any web server does. They hold no profile or diary information.

Reminders already queued on an Android phone live on the phone itself. Uninstalling CaloDaily removes them.

Removing Google access is not the same thing

You can remove CaloDaily’s access to your Google account at myaccount.google.com/connections. That stops future sign-ins but leaves your stored data untouched - use one of the two routes above to have it deleted.
